I am a 28 year old female barber! I am desperate for a slow life. I have always wanted to live off grid, off the land and be apart of a self-sufficient community. I have virtually no farming or homesteading experience but I am able bodied and eager to learn.

I envision a fully self-sufficient, off-grid homestead or farm with a small close knit community who work together and work hard. The end goal is to be non-reliant on any outside factors or organizations. An almost magical place built off of love of the land and appreciation for the animals. I believe we can heal our bodies through the food that we consume. I believe in herbal medicine. I’ve always had these big dreams but having no prior experience and being apart of the lower-middle class, it’s hard to know where to even start. I have found out about these exchange websites and programs and I am excited to see if I can find something that works for me, and you! :)
