Goals, Values, Vision

My goal is to make regenerative agriculture and non-industrial farming practices more mainstream. I believe this will be accomplished by consumer education, product availability, and lowering the costs of products raised in a regenerative manner.  In the short term, I would like to start by making these products more accessible in my local area and I will do this by becoming a producer. I will start with pasture raised and soy free pasture raised meat chickens due to the fact that chicken is the most consumed meat. As time goes on, I would like to expand into other types of meat production using regenerative practices and into consumer education.

Farming Method

Organic Practices

The basis of "regenerative farming" is rotational grazing. Animals will be moved, typically on a daily basis, to new pasture in order to distribute manure and impact. That area of land will then be given time to rest, regrow, and make use of those nutrients (for roughly 1-3 months) before any animals are brought back to that same area. This method creates soil, increases microbial and other biological diversity, and is in whole a method that is beneficial to nature rather than the industrial model which leeches off of nature and its diversity and resources.
