Elizabeth Montero

Hey everyone! I am a girl who’s passionate about restoring our lands and adding biodiversity while producing healthy organic foods for my family and community! I draw a lot of inspiration from people like Joel Salatin. I am currently a student also, learning horticultural techniques and permaculture design. I am blessed to have my husband as a partner also. As a Native American his knowledge in regenerative agriculture and land management is extremely valuable. We have four children and currently reside in Kentucky. However as a native michigander myself, I have wanted to come home ever since I left.

Goals, Values, Vision

Our vision is to create a place where people can come and learn about regenerative practices. Also creating transparency so people can see where their food is coming from. Showing how clean and how much care goes into this process will only build value while increasing yields over the years. We do not own a farm currently. My husband has knowledge in Native agriculture practices, working the land in traditional ways as well as some schooling in agriculture and engineering. He can build or fix anything! We would love all the mentoring we can get! We both are very passionate about this and are very capable. We have four farm hands, I mean children hahaha and want to give them the best food and childhood! What greater knowledge can be passed down? I believe people are realizing that local organic farming is what we are lacking in this country. Everyone deserves access to healthy food produce in a way that doesn’t deplete the land. For our health and the health of future generations and preservation of our planet, I believe this work is the most important and that the demands for it will only increase in time.
