Goals, Values, Vision
Living as a single mom with a 10-year-old son, I’m constantly thinking about how to combine our passions and create a meaningful life together. We are fascinated by animals, especially horses, and we would love a life more about living or working on a farm. We want to learn everything—how to care for animals, how to grow food, and even the ins and outs of sustainable living. We’ve got an adventurous spirit, and I want to nurture that.
Also, I have a dream to integrate my skills as a licensed massage therapist into this lifestyle. Imagine receiving massages in a tranquil setting—a renovated horse stable turned into a cozy, serene massage space or a gazebo placed down on a trail by a stream. The thought of helping people unwind while being surrounded by nature and the peacefulness of a farm is something I’m deeply passionate about.
I’m also drawn to the idea of a modern farm that embraces eco-villages or intentional living communities. Building something with my hands, tinkering with projects, and creating spaces where people can connect with nature while living sustainably—these are the things that light me up. I’m eager to find a place where we can live, work, or volunteer that aligns with these passions, offering both my son and me a life that feels purposeful and connected to the earth.

I have worked and volunteered on many horse farms. I would love to learn how to work with horses in a more harmonious way. Feeding them things that enrich their gut like alfalfa instead of oats and processed grains. Building them structures to live in that are ergonomic. And using bedding that is environmentally sustainable.
