Goals, Values, Vision

Inspired mainly by Joel Salatin and his Polyface Farms in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, my wife, MaryAnn, and I desire to begin our own farming/homestead life and business. We recently moved to Lowell, MI where I work full-time for the State of Michigan, Dept. of Treasury as an Economic Specialist and MaryAnn, for the KDL Cascade branch. We are expecting our first child (a boy!) this coming November and want to learn more about raising/selling livestock, the cottage food industry, and all things farming. We both attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and attend mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in Grand Rapids.
