Goals, Values, Vision
For our future farming plans, we envision expanding Sanctuary Farms into a larger operation that integrates sustainable practices with community engagement. Specifically, we plan to acquire and develop 20+ acres of land, creating a holistic campus that balances food production, nature sanctuaries, and educational spaces. This will involve a mix of farming, composting, and permaculture techniques, as well as curated spaces for arts and cultural activities in nature. My expectations include not only producing organic food but also fostering environmental justice, food sovereignty, and community resilience.
My vision for Sanctuary Farms is to be a central hub in the community—a place where people can learn, connect, and thrive while being close to nature.
The skills that will help me build this operation include expertise in urban planning, community engagement, and sustainable agriculture. Additionally, skills in business management and partnerships with universities, farm agencies, and community groups will be crucial. My self-taught knowledge in zoning, site planning, and sustainable building will also play a significant role in achieving this vision.
