I have a few years of experience in livestock (rotationally grazed beef, dairy, eggs) and a year of organic veggie experience.
My wife and I have a baby on the way, so on-farm housing would be huge. Otherwise, proximity to our residence is a big consideration.
I will be working full time, so the type of farming I will do will depend on acreage and how often I can realistically be on the farm (before/after work, on weekends).
I have lots to learn but am earnest in my desire to farm long-term. Open to mentorship from a more experienced farmer, particularly with tractors and other heavy machinery.
My goal is to support my family by producing good food through regenerative farming practices. I believe humans are made to tend the earth!

Certified Organic, Organic Practices
Pastured Beef, Dairy, and eggs are my main interests. Rotational grazing and organic practices within reason. Not interested in organic certification as much as I am in just doing good practice.
Also very interested in creative methods to produce fruit in greenhouses. Using heat from decomposing wood chips and leaf mulch, rocket mass heaters, and/or solar mass storage to grow fruit here in Michigan that normally gets trucked in from afar (peaches, strawberry, kiwi, figs, oranges, etc).
