My name is Rick. I am a Mechanical Engineering Manager at Stellantis and I commute back and forth between the Chrysler Tech Center in Auburn Hills and the Chelsea Proving Grounds in Chelsea, MI near Ann Arbor. I am looking for an agreement to use land. Will spend my own money to upgrade your property making it more useful in exchange for a small amount of space to use. I will share a portion of the yield with the land owner. My vision is to grow some crops, possibly some fruit trees as well. Maybe long term figuring out a way to have some egg laying or meat chickens. I wish to cause as little disruption to the owners land and property as possible if an agreement can be made. I am a family man. I wish to have my teen daughter and younger son work with me at times on the land and to teach them skills and put fresh food in our pantry. I wish to have a small yield each year to put fresh food on our table during the harvesting times, but to also be able to preserve many foods for winter and spring usage. I also wish to return the property to its original state (plus upgrades) if there would ever come a time in the future that the agreement were nullified.
