Goals, Values, Vision

My dream is to run a small scale grazing dairy using “natural methods” to achieve high animal welfare. I believe in cows raising calves and lots of enrichment for the cows. I’d also love to do ag education/agrotourism.

Currently I have a small herd with 13 cows that I am currently renting pasture for. As a first generation farmer and a recent college grad accessing land is my biggest challenge. I would especially love to find land I can live on site with.

Farming Method

Organic Practices, Conventional

I believe in some aspects the natural approach is better, mostly those that encourage natural behaviors improving animal welfare. I don’t necessarily agree with all organic practices like being anti-GMO and not allowing antibiotics for sick animals.
