Building soil, tending plants, sharing nutritious food, and cultivating community via four-season regenerative farming and traditional skill-sharing is what I love to do most. I also enjoy tending animals, but I know the most successful farms start small and build new value-added systems as capacity allows. I'm interested in creating a perennial polyculture (no-till/low-till permaculture) system that also includes annual vegetables, flowers, herbs, mushrooms, bees, maple syrup, and chickens for eggs. Particularly interested to explore possibilities of Community Land Trust (with small sustainable affordable housing) to care for the land, farmers and community in perpetuity, similar to what "Agrarian Trust,” “Community reBuilds" and "Crooked Forest Institute" are doing. Not particular on how many acres; hoophouse desired (can install). Clean water a priority.
