Goals, Values, Vision
I am building a small-scale cut flower farm rooted in beauty, sustainability, and community connection. Currently, I cultivate a ¼-acre organic garden for personal use, which has given me hands-on experience with soil health, crop rotation, and season extension. My goal is to expand this knowledge into a cut flower operation that produces high-quality, specialty flowers using environmentally responsible practices, with an emphasis on soil health, biodiversity, and long-term stewardship of the land.
My vision is to supply seasonal flowers to local markets and florists while helping to strengthen Michigan’s local flower economy. I bring years of gardening experience, strong organizational and creative skills, and a professional background in photography and media. These skills will help me market the farm, build a strong visual brand, and connect with customers in meaningful ways. I am committed, hardworking, and eager to put in the time and effort to build this vision from the ground up.
