Goals, Values, Vision

My vision is for our family farm to become the premier local provider of gorgeous seasonal cut flowers, alongside premium tubers, bulbs, and roots for fellow gardening enthusiasts to plant in their own dirt. The farm will be a place of experience and community, specializing in:

  • Fresh-Cut Blooms: Highlighting spectacular dahlias, lush and fragrant peonies, and soothing fields of lavender.
  • U-Pick Events: Inviting local families out to experience the joy of harvesting their own beautiful bouquets straight from the field.
  • Organic Produce: Offering a nourishing selection of fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables for sale.

Roots & Skillset

Building a farm from the ground up takes a mix of dirt-under-the-nails experience and modern business savvy. I’m stepping into this journey with a unique toolkit:

Horticultural Foundation: I've already cut my teeth running a successful small-scale home farm on my own property, giving me practical insight into Michigan's soil and microclimates.

Ecological Stewardship: As a member of the Southeastern Michigan Butterfly Association (SEMBA), my farming practices will deeply prioritize supporting native pollinators and creating a balanced, eco-friendly habitat.

The Modern Edge: My professional background as a graphic designer and marketing specialist means our farm will have a beautiful, cohesive brand from day one. Combined with my skills as a licensed drone pilot, I'll be able to capture stunning aerial visuals of the blooming fields to share our farm's journey with the community.
