My husband and I are looking for a farm of our own to grow organic produce and native plants on. My husband was the manager of an organic farm for years. I was the education and outreach coordinator at our local co-op for 10 years. We feel well-equipped, educated, and ready to start a farm of our own to give back to the earth and our community, and provide accessible education that connects people to their food.

Our goal when we attain a farm is to create a space for our community to learn more about where their food comes from. As an educator and an active community member, I want to host classes and walks to teach our community how to grow their own food, why choose organic and regenerative farming practices, and how we can better set up the future generations living on this planet.
Also, we plan to partner with close friends to create an organic you-pick operation, as well as have plots for wholesale farming to local restaurants. My husband's background in organic farming and building will be helpful for our future goals. Our close friends have backgrounds in environmental sustainability and protection, as well as building.
