Goals, Values, Vision
My vision is to build a 300-head, low-input, grass-based sheep operation in Southeast Michigan that produces high-quality lamb for local and halal markets around Detroit. I want to use rotational grazing, good pasture management, and simple infrastructure to keep animals healthy, soils improving, and costs under control.
Over time, I plan to develop a multi-season lamb program: finishing 50 lb feeder lambs on pasture for 5–6 months, then marketing whole and half lambs directly to families, butchers, and small retailers. My goal is to create a reliable, transparent supply of lamb that customers can trust, and a grazing system that landowners can be proud to host on their property.
I bring 15+ years of experience in large-scale operations, logistics, and people management, and I am comfortable with data, planning, and day-to-day hands-on work. My values are simple: honesty, clear communication, animal welfare, and respect for the land and community. I am looking for a long-term, win-win partnership with a landowner where we can grow carefully, share success fairly, and improve the land together year after year.

Organic Practices
I plan to use a low-input, grass-based system with rotational grazing. Sheep will move regularly through small paddocks so pasture can rest and recover, and so we control parasites with grazing management instead of heavy chemical use. My focus is on healthy forage, clean water, shade, and simple, safe handling facilities.
I do not plan to use routine antibiotics or hormones. Any treatments will be based on clear need and veterinary advice. I will keep basic records on pasture rotations, weights, and health so we can improve the system every season and protect both the land and the animals.
