My journey into regenerative agriculture began fairly recently, sparked by a profound moment of reflection following my daughter's birth. As I contemplated the future she would inherit, I found myself deeply concerned about the trajectory of our country’s agricultural systems. The state of the land we depend on and the quality of the food we consume led me to question: why is this not more of a priority? My curiosity quickly turned into a passion, and that passion evolved into a commitment. I truly believe regenerative agriculture offers the solution we so desperately need.

Driven by this newfound purpose and a desire for a meaningful career change, I immersed myself in research. I have spent countless hours studying key concepts such as AMP Grazing, cover crops, holistic and adaptive management, pastured poultry processing, the forage chain, epigenetics, and more. When I delve into a subject that captivates me, I give it my all—and this has been no exception.
When I realized I had reached a plateau in my self-education, I sought guidance from others within the field. I was fortunate to connect with Kevin Fulton, a pioneer in AMP Grazing and rotational grazing for soil regeneration. Through ongoing conversations and Q&A sessions with him, I’ve gained invaluable insights and resources to deepen my understanding. While my hands-on experience in agriculture is limited, I am confident that my strong work ethic, management skills, and personal sense of responsibility to provide for my family uniquely position me to excel in this field.
As a devoted family man, creating a lasting legacy is my greatest motivation. I am inspired by what you’ve accomplished in regenerative agriculture, and I am eager to both contribute to your goals and realize my vision of fostering thriving, healthy soils and a sustainable, multi-species ecosystem that mirrors nature’s balance.
To achieve this, I plan to implement the “6-3-4 Methods,” focusing on the Six Principles of Soil Health, the Three Rules of Adaptive Stewardship, and the Four Ecosystem Processes. These foundational principles guide my vision for unlocking the land’s potential while respecting its natural integrity.
I understand that my relatively limited experience in agriculture may seem unconventional, but I approach every goal with unwavering determination and resilience. I am fully committed to this path and to the belief that failure is not an option.
I’ll leave you with a quote that resonates deeply with my philosophy:
"The land does not lie; it bears a record of what men write on it... A record that is easy to read by those who understand the simple language of the land." – W.C. Lowdermilk
