Grant & Brenna Bennink

We enjoy the outdoors, regenerative farming, and preserving & sourcing our own food. At the moment we have a 1 year old and one more on the way. We are currently renting in Hudsonville but always have planter boxes setup, and a garden with family. Our falls are spent hunting for as much of our own meat as we can fit in the freezers. Come late winter and early spring we make maple syrup, which we’ve been doing since 2022. After that, we get food plots in and prep for gardening.

Goals, Values, Vision

Grant works full time as an elevator mechanic apprentice but outside of work, he enjoys a slower paced environment in the outdoors. Brenna is currently a stay at home mother that also enjoys the outdoors. We share a desire to someday have a small farm of our own to grow food for ourselves and sell some produce as well in a farm stand. In this day and age, we feel the idea of starting a family hobby farm from scratch is a daunting but doable task. Grant has experience with some equipment he has used at his grandparents or parents and enjoys operating. We hope someday to show our kids the satisfaction in growing food for ourselves and for others.
