Hannah Michael

My husband, David, grew up on a regenerative farm in Virginia, where we lived and built our own 7 acre homestead for almost 10 years. I have a passion for teaching others to grow food based on permaculture and food forest principles. We strongly believe in being good stewards of the land and providing truly healthy food for our own family and others.

Goals, Values, Vision

Our vision is to build a thriving farm that has deep roots in the local community; providing food, education and a connection to the land for all who want to be a part of it. We believe good stewardship of the land starts with caring for and rebuilding the ecosystem using permaculture based principles. We are members of Seed Savers Exchange and value the work they do and would look to contribute to their efforts through the work on the farm.

Organic Practices

We use all natural inputs from the land around us. It’s a long process but we believe, with the right care, the land can heal itself and be extremely abundant.
