We are a young family seeking a farm to move our dairy herd to (consisting of 70 jerseys, cows to calves) or just mentorship on how to navigate farm transition planning. My family has a dairy in Clinton County and we are currently trying to decide if we take over the family farm or if there is in an opportunity in Southwest MI, where we are currently living, to start our own operation.
