Goals, Values, Vision

My husband and I are best friends who always excited for a new adventure. He is excited with all the crops we have been able to grow in the city. Two christmases ago he got my my first farming book. I’ve always had a green thumb, handed down by my grandmother, and I love being in the garden. We designed my wedding ring flush to my finger so that I never have to take it off and it doesn’t snag on my gloves.

Our goals start with an analyzation of the soil, I really enjoyed the ‘Dirt to Soil’ book by Gabe Brown. Knowing that minimal weeding help your crops is music to my ears!

We would the determine which above ground crops will do well and then compliment those with underground  crops like carrots and potatoes.

After crops I’d look at which flowers will do best and grow them for an easy roadside revenue (depending on location). Flowers bring me joy and pollinators!

Lastly we would look at expending our family. I love bees, but would want to educate myself more to ensure their survival. Ducks are our preference for pest control as well as laughter, we love how funny running ducks are!!
