Aspiring farming family (ages 31 & 28) with two young children, eager to root our future in the soil. While my background is as a Journeyman Electrician—meaning I’m highly technical, handy, and a natural problem solver—my heart has always been in the field. From hauling hay as a teen in Clinton to dreaming of full-scale production, I am ready to transition. My wife and I are a dedicated team seeking a mentor to teach us the equipment and craft. Hardworking, local, and ready to learn.

Goals, Values, Vision

Our Vision

To establish a family-run farm dedicated to community health and the restoration of the land. We envision a legacy of sustainable stewardship, producing clean, nutrient-dense crops that nourish our family while providing a reliable source of organic produce for our neighbors. Through our farm stand and local markets, we aim to make wholesome, transparently grown food accessible to everyone.

Our Values

Integrity of the Harvest: We are committed to organic, chemical-free growing practices, prioritizing the highest nutritional density and the long-term health of our soil and customers.

Service & Community: We believe a farm should be a resource for its neighbors. Our goal is to provide for our family while ensuring our surplus supports the well-being of the wider community.

Craftsmanship & Grit: We bring a "blue-collar" work ethic to the field, utilizing technical trade experience to master the mechanics, maintenance, and hard labor required for a successful operation.

Intentional Living: We value a lifestyle rooted in the outdoors, raising our children to appreciate the importance of honest labor, the environment, and a simpler way of life.

Our Goals

Comprehensive Apprenticeship: To partner with a mentor who can provide hands-on training in the full agricultural cycle—from soil preparation and seed selection to harvest and business management.

Equipment & Technical Mastery: To translate my skills as a journeyman electrician into the agricultural world, becoming proficient in the operation, repair, and innovation of farming machinery.

Local Market Integration: To build a presence at local farmers' markets and establish an on-site farm stand that serves as a hub for fresh, high-quality organic produce.

Sustainable Growth: To develop a self-sufficient farm that allows us to work the land full-time, creating a productive and lasting agricultural legacy for our children.
