Goals, Values, Vision
I hold an Associate Degree in Agribusiness and have maintained a strong interest in farming, food systems, and rural economic development for more than 15 years. Throughout my career, I have worked in transportation, logistics, operations management, and supply chain-related fields, developing skills in planning, budgeting, equipment coordination, compliance, and business operations that I intend to apply to a successful farming enterprise.
My long-term goal is to transition into full-time farming through a combination of homesteading, diversified agriculture, and sustainable land stewardship. I am particularly interested in opportunities involving mixed-use farms, orchards, specialty crops, market gardening, agroforestry, poultry, and regenerative farming practices. I value soil health, conservation, responsible resource management, and building resilient local food systems.
I am actively seeking farmland, farm lease opportunities, lease-to-own arrangements, and farm transition partnerships in West Michigan, especially within Newaygo, Muskegon, and northern Kent Counties. I am open to working with retiring farmers who wish to see their land remain productive and cared for by the next generation.
My objective is not only to build a viable farm business but also to create a sustainable homestead that contributes to the local community while preserving agricultural land and rural heritage. I am committed to learning, collaboration, and developing a farm operation that can grow responsibly over time.

Farming Plans and Practices
Farming Method
Certified Organic, Organic Practices, Conventional
My farming approach emphasizes soil health, nutrient management, and long-term sustainability. I have experience with composting, organic matter management, crop rotation, cover crops, and natural pest-control methods to reduce reliance on synthetic inputs where practical. My goal is to build productive, resilient soils that improve yields while protecting land resources for future generations.
I have applied these practices in gardens and small farm settings and am seeking opportunities to expand them to larger-scale operations. My livestock experience includes goats, sheep, and poultry, with particular interest in dairy and fiber goats, meat goats, and broiler production as part of a diversified farm system.
