Littles Farm

Goals, Values, Vision

My vision is to create a farm that is more than a place to grow food. I want to establish a family-centered environment where moms and families can slow down, reconnect with each other, and find peace in nature. The farm will focus on three main areas:

  1. Sustainable Produce & Flowers – Growing fresh vegetables and establishing U-pick flower fields where families can harvest their own food and enjoy the beauty of seasonal blooms.
  2. Animal Interaction & Education – Offering safe, hands-on opportunities to learn about and care for animals, helping children and adults alike develop appreciation and respect for God’s creation.
  3. Community & Family Activities – Hosting seasonal events, children’s crafts, workshops, and family-friendly gatherings that encourage both learning and rest.

Over time, the farm will grow into a community hub where families come not just to shop, but to connect, celebrate, and build memories.

In the first phase, I plan to establish produce gardens and U-pick flower plots while introducing a small group of animals for educational and therapeutic purposes. As the farm develops, I hope to add more structured activities—such as family farm days, educational programs for kids, and seasonal events that celebrate the harvest and the land.

Looking further ahead, I envision creating designated spaces for families to gather, rest, and enjoy nature together. This may include picnic areas, play areas for children, and walking paths that highlight the natural beauty of the property. I want the farm to provide both food and experiences that nurture body, mind, and spirit.

I bring over a decade of farm experience, along with the practical knowledge that comes from growing up immersed in farm life. My background has prepared me with skills in:

  • Animal Care: Feeding, housing, and maintaining livestock with attention to their well-being.
  • Crop Production: Planting, harvesting, and maintaining a variety of crops through different seasons.
  • Farm Operations: Managing daily routines, maintaining equipment, and balancing long-term planning with immediate needs.
  • Community Engagement: Working with families, children, and volunteers in a way that creates positive experiences and lasting connections.

Beyond technical skills, I bring strong determination, adaptability, and a passion for making the farm a place that serves others.

At the heart of my vision is faith, family, and gratitude. I believe farming is not only about producing food but about cultivating appreciation for the gifts we’ve been given. Every seed that grows and every animal that breathes reflects God’s goodness. I want to create a space where families can see and experience that truth firsthand.

As a single mom of three, I also bring a personal perspective that shapes the farm’s direction. I know the importance of creating meaningful, affordable experiences for children and parents. My hope is to build a place where families can step away from their busy schedules, enjoy time together, and leave with a renewed sense of connection and peace.

My long-term goal is for the farm to become a sustainable, community-supported space. I want it to provide healthy food, educational opportunities, and family-centered events year-round. I see the farm as a place that grows alongside the community—offering resources, experiences, and connections that meet the needs of families in every season of life.

Financially, I plan to balance farm operations through a mix of produce and flower sales, event hosting, and educational programs. By building slowly and steadily, I hope to create a farm that is sustainable both economically and environmentally.

This farm is the natural continuation of my life’s journey—a blending of my agricultural roots, my years of hands-on farm work, and my passion for creating spaces where families can thrive. My vision is to grow a farm that feeds more than just the body. It will feed the spirit, encourage gratitude, and build stronger families and communities.

Through faith, hard work, and a commitment to serve, I believe this farm will become a place where peace is found, memories are made, and appreciation for God’s creation is renewed.

Farming Plans and Practices

The foundation of my farm will be built on sustainable and family-friendly farming methods. I believe that the way we grow food should honor the land, care for the animals, and provide safe, healthy products for the community. My focus will be on natural, low-chemical practices, prioritizing soil health, crop diversity, and responsible animal care.

I plan to use rotational planting and cover crops to enrich the soil and reduce erosion, while minimizing synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Composting, mulching, and natural soil amendments will help maintain fertility and improve long-term productivity. Integrated pest management will allow me to address challenges in ways that protect crops without harming the environment.

For animals, my approach will emphasize ethical care and respect. Livestock will be raised with proper space, access to the outdoors, and a focus on health and well-being. Their role will not only be practical, but also educational—helping families and children learn about the importance of care, responsibility, and respect for animals.

My goal is to balance productivity with sustainability, ensuring the farm provides for families today while protecting the land for the generations to come.
