Goals, Values, Vision
My vision is to create an organic, sustainable farm that not only produces healthy food but also serves as a gathering place for people, animals, and nature. The farm will be built around seasonal rhythms, with each time of year offering unique opportunities for the community to come together. In the spring and summer, guests can pick flowers, fruits, and berries straight from the land. Fall will bring pumpkin picking, hayrides, and harvest activities. In winter, families can visit to choose and cut their own Christmas tree, turning the farm into a festive holiday destination.
Beyond food and crops, I want the farm to be a place of healing and connection. Goat yoga and other wellness events will provide people with space to recharge in nature, while collaborations with like-minded individuals and organizations will allow us to host workshops, community gatherings, and educational programs. My goal is for the farm to feel alive with possibility, where every season brings new reasons to visit and new ways to give back.
A central part of my vision is creating a dog adoption sanctuary on the property. Unlike traditional kennels, I imagine a space where dogs can live freely in open, natural areas running, playing, and socializing with people who come to the farm. Visitors could meet adoptable dogs while enjoying the farm, creating meaningful connections in a relaxed, outdoor environment. This approach would not only improve the quality of life for the dogs but also help people feel the joy and healing energy that comes from being around them. It’s my hope that this will bring the community closer together, blending farming with rescue in a way that feels natural, compassionate, and inspiring.
My values are rooted in sustainability, compassion, and community. Although I am new to farming, I bring determination, creativity, and a strong calling to live self-sufficiently while building something that contributes to the greater good. By combining organic farming, seasonal activities, wellness opportunities, and a unique approach to animal rescue, I envision a farm that is more than just a place to grow food...it is a place to grow connection, healing, and a better future.
