Goals, Values, Vision
My vision is to build a sustainable and successful farm that reflects my love of nature, animals, and my community. In the future, my goal is to provide at least 70% of the food my family eats to be grown on my own land, with some surplus to sell to mitigate costs.
I am mostly interested in permaculture and restorative agriculture practices, and would like to eventually have a farm that has a net positive impact on the surrounding environment and community. I am also interested in wildlife rehabilitation and would like to eventually dedicate a portion of land to a wildlife education and rehabilitation center.
The skills and experience that will help me succeed include community outreach, gardening, livestock care, and injured/orphaned wildlife care. I also hope to continue learning about new studies on best practices in permaculture and restorative agriculture and creating a blueprint for other americans to take charge of their food consumption and reconnect with where their food comes from.
Ultimately, my goal is to find a homestead I can spend the rest of my life caring for and create a farm that is educational, practical, and beneficial to the people it feeds and the environment. I am committed to the hard work and tackling the many obstacles that farmers often face, and look forward to building something that I will be proud to leave as my legacy.

Farming Plans and Practices
Farming Method
Certified Organic, Organic Practices
The best way to describe the practices I would implement on my farm is Permaculture Plus. While many people in permaculture adhere to 100% organic practices, I believe that adding what is best for the organism (vaccines, medications, soil additives, etc) reduces harm and suffering, and will ultimately lead to more positive outcomes and products.
