We are an aviation couple with grown children also in the business. I grew up in a farming community and we raised our children in a small farming community. Although we do not have direct experience of running a farm , farming roots run deep in our family. I am looking to retire from my side of aviation and realize our long time dream of creating and living a sustainable farm where we can build community. Although we have many mentors in our plan we are always open to another mentor.

Goals, Values, Vision
We are seeking to purchase a farm in Northern Michigan where we can focus on regenerative agriculture, growing vegetables and flowers. Our goal is to build a sustainable farm that prioritizes soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem restoration. We are passionate about creating a thriving, eco-friendly farm that produces high quality, nutrient-dense food and beautiful flowers for the community. We are looking for no more than 50 acres that include a homesite and a mix of diverse terrain. We are hoping for a property with a farmhouse of space for a homestead and outbuildings for storage, equipment, and possible greenhouse space. We love a good old farm house. Our current farm house was built in the 1860s and we have lovingly restored it by hand, just the two of us. We have traveled the world because of our jobs but continually find ourselves drawn back to northern Michigan where we have spent the last 26 years camping in every season and renting small cabins to enjoy all that the area has to offer
