Goals, Values, Vision
Currently, we have 40 head and producing around 15 calves a year. We keep and grass-finish the steers from our cow-calf herd and sell beef direct to consumer.
Our first goal is to continue growing our herd to produce 25 calves per year.
Once we meet this goal, we would like to continue growing, if and when it makes sense.
We like to maintain our herd and manage land using regenerative farming practices. However, we are open to considering all options that will help to produce the healthiest soil, pastures and animals possible.
Ijme is a 4th generation farmer and has worked with cows his entire life. He was a dairy farmer until switching to beef cattle and hoof trimming, in 2017.
Ami's background is in education and is dedicated to contributing to agriculture education and outreach through their Farm School program.
We are easy to work with in a leasing arrangement and are accepting of individual landowners' requirements and visions.
