I grew up on a 120 acre dirt farm, we raised chickens, hogs and horses. We had a small orchard and 15 bee hives. We gre our own food and I want to grow herbs for organic natural remedies as well. I want to help give my grand children the childhood i had and teach them the value in hard work and how rewarding it can be.

I would like to find a small farm with an orchard to produce fruits without poison or pesticides. I would like to transplant or grow pawpaw fruit as well as it is hard to find and has a great untapped market. I would like to find something with hives though I can find some if needed. I would sell baked goods as well such as pawpaw and honey tarts to open new income streams. I also would like to grow herbs for natural remedies and have workshops to teach people how to prepare and use them and candle and ear cone making classes from bees wax. I have a vision for a fully sustainable small farm where my family can learn the values I grew up with and build something they can pass down to future generations.
