Sophie R Miller

Hi there! I just graduated from WMU with a bachelor degree in biology. I’m planning to run a regenerative/sustainable farm in the future. Right now I’m seeking to learn as much as possible. If you’re willing or able to hire me I’d be interested. Or I’d also accept housing and would work part time on your farm to learn. I currently work part time for a farming collective, but there’s room in my schedule for you if we can work something out!

Goals, Values, Vision

My long term goal is to have a farm business operating as sustainably as possible. With this farm I intend to partner with job programs to help people who are homeless, recovering addicts, and people coming out of the jail system get back on their feet. I want to have housing available for them onsite so that they can work up to paying me rent, which means I can then be both a job reference and a housing reference for them as they move on from the farm. To prepare me for this goal I am looking to continue learning about sustainable agriculture practices and about building a successful farm business.
