Hi, I'm Storm, a recent Mitten transplant, with my dog & fiancee, from the Dust Bowl. We are seeking a small, to midsize, property to start building our roots here, hopefully be somewhat self-sufficient, steward the environment, and join in on the whirlwinds of agriculture! Raised in a diversified agricultural family, and area. A jack-of-all trades type! Soil to yearlings to welding & carpentry. Just needing a place to put all these skills to use!

Goals, Values, Vision
Acquire a property that has some type of immediate sustainability potential, with possible escalation to a small profit producer at some point. We would like to have enough acreage, or potential for future acquirement, to practice a rotating grazing/fallow schedule with starting with a few large, down to smaller livestock. Small scale produce production with whatever space is available (1-5 acres of tilled vegetable & orchard space).
Currently, I am in the renewable energy trades as a field technician. My hard skills are numerous, including carpentry, light agronomy, welding & metal fab, plumbing, electrical (eligible for MI JE test, but have not scheduled due to career change), dirt/foundation work, concrete, fencing, light surveying, landscaping, timber management, livestock management, etc.
My fiancee is currently narrowing down higher education opportunities within healthcare, and hoping to enter that field in the very near future. She also has quite the skill set, and is an outstanding "homemaker" in the traditional sense. Though household duties abide no archaic gendered hierarchies in our space!
Finally, we just hope to find a property that we can build upon and shape to live out the rest of our future adventure together upon!
