Engineer with a homestead dream I am an engineer who works full time remote, with my lab Luna. Background: Luna and I for the past year have been nomadic after working towards and finally accomplishing our dream of remote work. We have come to find through this last year the important cells of community in our lives and thus our move back towards Kalamazoo. Yet we still have our drive to be in and surrounded by nature and animals. I have a history of living and working on farms in the summer (primarily horse rescues) so we are comfortable in that environment.
What we are looking for: We want to support a local farm in or near Kalamazoo by paying rent for a spot to live for the summer in our trailer/truck set up (25’ trailer). I do work full time remote so would not be able to commit to supporting any farm needs and I would be happy to feed the horses, water, etc once in a while but really just would love to get to know the farm community more and learn what it takes to run one!
