Goals, Values, Vision

My goal is to build a diversified sheep dairy and value-added farm producing healthy, minimally processed dairy products while caring for the land through regenerative, sustainable management. I currently raise sheep part-time and am intentionally growing toward a full-time operation.

Before pursuing farming, I owned and operated a landscaping business, where I gained practical experience in land management, grading, drainage, fencing, equipment operation, project planning, and building outdoor spaces. Those skills translate directly to developing and maintaining productive farmland and have given me confidence in improving agricultural infrastructure.

My long-term vision is to establish a commercial sheep dairy producing dairy products for local economy, and freeze-dried dairy products in a broader market; while maintaining healthy pasture systems and excellent animal welfare. I have completed agricultural coursework through MSU, Ohio State, and other institutions covering dairy production, livestock management, agricultural economics, marketing, and farm business planning.

I am seeking an opportunity to work alongside an experienced farmer who wants to see their farm remain productive. I respect the knowledge that comes from generations of farming and hope to learn from someone willing to share that experience while I invest my own time, labor, and resources into building a financially sustainable operation. I am not looking for a hobby farm—I am building a business and am prepared to invest in the property and its future.

My background as both a business owner and clinical social worker has taught me how to solve problems, communicate effectively, and build lasting relationships. My goal is to preserve farmland by creating a profitable operation that respects its history while preparing it for the next generation.

Organic Practices

I practice pasture-based livestock management using rotational grazing, healthy soil practices, responsible parasite management, and low-stress animal handling. While I am not currently certified organic, I follow organic principles whenever practical and strive to improve soil health, biodiversity, and long-term farm resilience.

My focus is on producing premium sheep dairy products through efficient, humane, and environmentally responsible management. I believe sustainability also means economic sustainability—building a farm that can support a family for generations while adapting to changing consumer demand for locally produced minimally processed foods.
