Description of the property’s current condition, current use(s), and past use(s)
This is a hilly farm with great timber resources and recovering open areas suited to silvopasture. Currently about 10 acres is in crop production. Beef cattle are rotated in 52 acres of improved and natural pasture. The red pine areas are being re established into silvo pasture with the next thinning planned for 2030, The maple areas are virgin ground that has never been cleared but timber has been selectively harvested.
There is a new pole barn and storage shed, Currently no power connection. We have tractors, tillage tools, grain drill, irrigation supplies and more available for use. Good partnerships with neighbors that also need some youthful energy about the places.
