Vision for the Farm

We are an educational non-profit focused on farm and natural building education for youth and adults. I would love to see the perfect person cultivate the land and reap abundance in a more production type setup. We live off grid, so the right person would need to be mindful, have a good skill set and willing to learn. Adept at interpersonal communication and good around children. Short term to longer term rental. Good for someone looking to get experience managing their own production.

Acreage description

Large 5 acre open plot on eastern side of property with no acess to water. We have around 1/3 of an acre near the homestead with soil that has been ammended for 5 plus years. We live off grid, with good power supply in the summer for irrigation and the lie,

Description of the property’s current condition, current use(s), and past use(s)

We live off grid with solar power as our primary source of energy. In years past I have run an organic production CSA for several years, so I have lots of farm equipment, 2 tractors, implements and the like. We have irrigation ability.  I now run a weekly child farm education program in the summertime. We have around 1/3 of an acre including a (shared) 30 by 100 ft greenhouse available for production use. There is more tillable land near irrigation and about 5 acres on the eastern side of the property without irrigation. We have a small goat herd that could be better utilized for clearing land.

Additional Information

Soil Type(s)
