Vision for the Farm
Ok farm friends, we are a small USDA organic market garden in Fenton, Mi. We are primarily CSA based (156 CSA customers), but also sell through farmers market and farm stand. We started this business from scratch in 2021, and the response and demand has been overwhelming.
We farm about 1.5 acres and produce over 65k lbs of food. We have two large high tunnels, two large cat tunnels, dedicated prop house, climate-controlled germination and nursery areas, and a UDA organic certified (as is the rest of the farm) climate-controlled microgreens facility capable of growing 80 trays at a time. There is a toolshed full of tools (BCS, Jang, paper pot planters, seeders, flame weeder, hand tools, etc.), a JD 4053 tractor with tiller, tons of trays, dedicated ag well, produce processing equipment, etc.
Now for the problem... I am ready to turn this business over to someone with the passion to take it forward. The demand in area is huge, we get great prices, and our customers are loyal and local.
The farmer is just worn out (my body is much different at 56 than it was at 50.) If you are ready to run a fully equipped operation with more potential than it has achieved so far, please reach out to me. I am open to creative arrangements.
